Has anyone seen the "B-J Sneak Peek" from the B-J auction? An original Cobra on the front cover. "Auctioning over 1100 awesome cars, all offered at no reserve." about 80 pages. 1100 cars about 100 Vets including the "Last Stingray". Featured car is Carroll Shelby's "Super snake. It is a nice gloss catalogue. Any questions, email me Dale

Re: B-J Auction
Very well put together. Probably for a reason. The stock market is now at an all time high. The high end investors may very well divest their tangible assets (R.E., Cars etc.) to jump back in. You know B-J and the rest of the car dealer types are watching this market very closely. (Possibly ringing out their shorts. )Certain cars will bring strong money, But I think the guy who paid 250K for 67 Big Block may be in for a rude awakening. In hopes of achieving 300K and up. The car market correction may be on it's way sooner than they thought. Hard to say will be interseting to watch, I may be all wet.- Top

Re: B-J Auction
Don't believe everything you see in the catalog as not all of the photos in it are of the actual car!! I know because they have a picture of my car in there representing one of the cars being auctioned. Also have another one of my friends cars in there as well. Since BJ has to screen the photo of the car before they will accept it in the auction, some of these..let's say...no quite honest sellers...are sending in photos of cars that are close to theirs while the one they are planning on bringing is in the shop being peiced back together for the auction in January. I have been to the auction for the past 3 years and see the same thing every year. I can hardly wait to meet the guy in person that has my car advertised. I know who he is and he dosen't know me...should be interesting.- Top

Re: B-J Auction
If the Super Snake is the 1967 Shelby with the 427 engine that was used for the Thunderbolt tire testing, that should bring some serious $$$$$. I looked at it for the current owner when he purchased it about five years ago. It was for sale in Boerne, TX at the time.- Top
