    c2 hoist for body lift

    I am about to lift the body off my 66 coupe and purchased a 1300lb hoist from Harbor Freight. Do you think this is going to be ok? Thanks in advance.

      Not a problem. "Body only" is maximum in the 700-800# range.... probably less when you figure 6 guys have no problem lifting it.

      Hoist is much better...
      Doesn't require a case of beer...
      It can hold the body overnight if need be.....
      Can't pinch its fingers.....

          I pick my 65 body up with a 1/4 ton [500 lbs] electric overhead hoist. It picks it right up.
