Working on a 67 hardtop for a friend in my church. (We're now up to 31 Corvette owners and about 50 cars in the church). Anyway, I/we have two questions:
1) what kind of tool (specifically what type of head) works on the screws along the rear bow closest to the centerline? (first two screws outboard of center have weird centers--rest are standard cross-recess) Amazing how older eyes struggle a bit more to see what's there!
2) How does the rear outer stainless come off? Appears that the lower comes off really easily once the screws are removed from the inside--but how about the two long pieces that start at the lower rear window corners and extend to the center above the back window? I've studied the AIM and can see the clips that hold the stainless, the window, and the rubber channel--how do you release the stainless from those clips without damaging the stainless or the paint?
Thanks!!
