OK which one of you guys was it?

    LA Times today.

BOSTON — Mail carriers cheerfully walked their routes, unburdened by hats or coats or boots made for blizzards. Joggers ran beside the (unfrozen) Charles River in shorts, and swimmers leapt into the sea at L Street Beach.

"Middle-aged guys cruised Commonwealth Avenue in top-down convertibles."

Enjoy the good weather my Boston friends.

I live in Boston, but was in Los Angeles last week and earlier this week. Got home Friday morning. It was cold in LA earlier this week. Down in the 40s at night. People were complaining. It was warming up when I left.

When it gets warm in Boston in the winter, the locals over react. Lots of motorcycles out yesterday. College kids and mailmen in shorts. When I go to Florida, Arizona, or Southern California in the wintertime, the second thing the natives will remark at is how lightly I'm dressed. I think it's hot. They're all dressed in heavy coats. I was in San Diego once in September at one of the beaches. I asked why nobody was in the water. Answer was that it was after Labor Day. So what? The weather and water temperature are the same.

Scandahoovians are even worse. A little sun, temperature over 40F, and they go nuts.
