My 997 Heads came from Chicago Corvette!

I just got home to find my new rebuilt heads had finally gotten here from Chicago Corvette!

I was assured by Al Fierke that there would be no stampings on the symbols!

Of course, there is one stamp one each head on one side!

Of course the stamp is poorly executed and on the symbol pad!

I will take pictures tomorrow and I am sure go to 997 head symbol school for Top Flight Judging! If they pass as is with no deductions... and the heads check out o.k. I will deal with it.

I have never posted pictures up on the NCRS board before. Is is just like on the Corvette Forum? I go through Photobucket.

Maybe a few pointers will help me get pics up!

I will call Al tomorrow morning and report what he says...

The heads will also be sent to my engine builder for a full inspection.

If you read this Al Fierke, here is your chance to be nice and make things right publicly FOR YOU AND CHICAGO CORVETTE!

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Jacob - after you've posted your photo on Photobucket, copy its URL and past it into the "Optional Image URL" below. Be sure to delete the existing "http:/" in the blank first before pasting your photo URL. Avoid the double http:/ and your photo should work. Try the preview feature first.
    Happy Holidays,

Sounds like your 997 head course had a $3000 tuition fee LOL !
Are you actually allowed to name one of the Corvette "elders" in what I perceive to be an expression of disatisfaction.

From what I recall, after the NCRS got past the hobbyist stage; ie when many members started to cash in on the hobby, no more critiques were published where a spade actually got called a spade or anything but good got said about anyones products.
