    What exactly came with NN5 CA emis. in 89?

    Can anyone list the differences between 1989 NN5 CA Emission Corvette's and those delivered Federally? My newely aquired 89 has NN5. Eric 3,182

      I can't find any difference in componentry between a 1989 NN5 california car and an NA5 federal emissions car. This includes often different components like ECM, CAL-PROM, distributor, EGR and AIR. So, it may be that the NN5 for 1989 was simply the extra assembly line testing and certification required for California at the time.
