That's the number; it's applicable to all 1990 Corvettes. You can get a remanufactured one from Auto ECM's (www.autoecms.com).

By the way, when it was discontinued this module carried a GM list price of over $700.

Joe contacted autoecms.com and they did not have one and no suggestions on how to get one and would not rebuild mine. Any other thoughts?

I'm sure that part of the problem here is that this is a one-year-only module and, as far as I can tell, with Corvette applicability only.

I have a feeling that "liability concerns" may represent an "impediment" to commercial rebuilding or repair of these units.

At this point, if you have an existing, but inoperable, unit, I think I'd be looking for a repair source. I don't know of one, but, if the potential liability issues are not overwhelming, I would think that there would be some out there.

While I am loathe to go the "used route" for electronics parts like this, that might be an option for you. In that regard, I'd suggest a C4 used parts specialist like Steve Arcoleo of Staten Island, NY. His number is 718-967-0698.

As I've said before, C4 restoration and repair is going to make C1-C3 look like child's play.

You are right 67 restoration was much easier. Had to pull the CDM box for the radio was worst job so far. I have a line on a guy in Texas that repairs them will let you know how it works out.
