Just a heads up, we are now making these. What use to be very hard to find side brackets for a special high performance 1960 or early 61.

I know the radiator was unpainted when it was installed from the assembly line. My question is were the brackets unpainted also? If they are painted what gloss of black? Are the brackets alluminum also?

Bill, Brackets are aluminum... In my experience...

...I have mixed findings on paint, but my best guess at this point - NOT...

I agree, no paint. Many of the old ones I find have some kind of black paint but it is never under the rubber cushions and looks to be non-production.
