67 Delco Radio Parts

Anyone know a good source for Delco radio replacement parts. I need the power/volume/tone switch for a 67.

But since we can't use this Board to advertise parts, I can't tell you about it. Sorry.

My copy of the Chevrolet Radio Service & Shop Manual shows the power/vol/tone switch had several PN alternatives including:

7290744, 7291126, 7290633 and 7290296.

Flipping pages to other Chevy radios of the era, there is no commonality with AM only sets, but ALL of the AM/FM sets used by other passenger cars call out the same set of PN's....

This is what you should look for

# 7290296, shows for Corvette radio Model 986281 1965 thru 1967. My 1965 Delco Service and Shop Manual does show the 4 different part #'s that Jack H. indicates. However, the 1966 and 1967 versions show only the "296" for Corvette (Germanium AM-FM.) It is not indicated for contemporary use in any other radio (AM-only, AM-FM, Wonderbar, etc). That is not to say that a competent radio shop nowadays would not be able to find an equivalent.

I need these controls for when I get around to servicing the half-dozen AM/FM's accumulated so far.
