I read someone had read an article in Hemmings Motor News about LT-1s being the next car to see substantial appreciation. Does anyone know which issue? Does anyone have a copy they could post?

Re: LT-1 appreciation
The 70-72 version. The other version is still in normal depreciation mode as just a car.
Of course, if you get a magazine saying it, then people will buy to get in ahead of everyone, and that makes the prices climb.
I bought stock from a broker doing that sort of thing. I think they went to jail when a few investors fell off the cycle. I got in on a class action suit as a result, and still made money.
Don't fall off the cycle. Sell as they climb, buy after they drop.- Top

Re: LT-1 appreciation
One only has to do an online search to see the asking prices on these solid lifter engines. They keep going up and I keep thinking that sooner or later they will come down but they don't. Then I start thinking about calling Hagerty Insurance and raising my policy.
The good news is that so far no snow in Pittsburgh so maybe I can do a New Years Eve cruise in the LT-1.

Re: LT-1 appreciation
I stumbled onto one this past spring and had to buy it. I love this car!
No snow in the Toronto area yet so I took a good friend out for a cruise on Christmas Eve and by the looks of the forecast there'll be a New Years Eve cruise too.
