    Holley 3310

I have a Holley 3310-3, date 3378. Would it be rather december 1978 or rather 1988? When was the approximate changeover from 3310-2 to 3310-3 respectively from 3310-3 to 3310-4?

In many cases, the - symbols indicated a choke change, as the originals were hot air chokes, but the later versions were available with manual shokes and electric chokes, each with it's own 331-X configuration. I believe the manual choke was -2.

As you probably know, the only production application for the 3310 was the '65 Chevelle Z-16.

Yes, for some strange reason a carb that was used for an extremely limited number of PRODUCTION vehicles, ended up being widely sold in SERVICE for a VERY long time.
