64 instrument panel

What should be the correct colour of the rings around the '64 instruments?
Should it be bright silver or more a goldish glossing silver?

Joep, The inside and outside edges are a frosted silver paint look and the thin line facing lip is polished chrome look.

I'm doing my 63 which is the same in most respects. The paint of choice that more closely matched the original is..... KRYLON # 1403 DULL ALUMINUM. It looks great. Be shure to shake the rattle can for about 2-3 min. for a better even coverage without blotches. Then after it's dry, scratch the paint off the edge to expose the crome with your finger nail or a pop-sickle stick which has been soaked in lacquer thinner and wiped off, just leaving a vapor left to remove the paint off the edge. Clean the paint off stick and repeat process.
