Inside the fiberglass headlamp assembly on my 63, there is a stamped metal pan which holds the adjusters and springs for the headlights and through which the wiring runs. This pan is held to metal brackets with four screws - one at each corner. Does anyone know what type screws were used? I have misplaced mine, apparently since I took them out 30 years ago. Look like 1/4-20, but what type of head and finish. Was a washer used also? Thanks

Re: 63 headlamp buckets
Hello; The 63 headlight insert was painted Gloos black with 4 red plastic aduster brackets held in place by Cad. plated tubular rivits. The screws that go in the adjusters were slotted, not phillips as in 64-67 cars and the screws were cad. plated as well. The 4 bolts that hold the inserts into the fiberglass housing were recessed hex head with a built in flare and no washers. These were also cad. plated and the head markings were L , D , or RBW. The height of the heads were about 1/8". I hope this helps you? Thanks, andy Cannizzo- Top

Re: 63 headlamp buckets
Thanks for the information. I haven't been able to find it in my sources. Any idea of a source for these? The catalogs seem to show only the later metal bucket arrangements.- Top
