Early 65 Hinge pillar weatherstrip screws??

65 Corvette convertible, AO Smith built Jan. 5 1965. I have 4 screw holes in the body in this area. 2 holes line up with the 2 holes in the weatherstrip. I don't know if a previous owner drilled extra holes to keep it in place. Should there be 2 or 4 screws per side? Also, are these screws the same type as the Coupes screws? Thanks DG

    Dick,
Had asked the same question on my 64 and found that the JG did call for the four screws and specify the style in each location, so check out your 65 JG it may have the answer. If it is different, is your car an early 65 which may have still been built like a 64.

Bottom line is, follow the JG if you show the car.
    good luck.
