1969 Fuel Tank area fiberglass marking

For those who are interested and didn't know, when judging a 1969 you might try to look up to the rear of the radio grounding plate (terminology corrections accepted) to see the marking shown in the attached photo.

Also, if I could get a better picture showing all the cast numbers of the inside surface of a side exhause car's rear lower valance and license plate panel, although they may be difficult for a judge to see, they may be one more area to check. I'll post it next.

Kent, I thought that mark looked familiar.

My 70 also has that mark on the rear deck, but it's more rearward...it's in the rear left corner, about 2-3 inches from both the spoiler-flange and the driver side fender flange. At first look, it appears to be a circle with an oblong or oval mark in the center, but I believe it's actually an large font "O" with paint forming the outline.

This is a photo of mark on my deck. Note the crease on the right side of the photo is the driver side rear fender peak. At the very lower edge of the photo, you can make out a light yellowish tan...that is clear resin and mat used to make an amateurish repair to damage at the deck/tail light panel intersection. The damage visible in the photo is actually in the rear deck spoiler area.

PS IMO, a judge would have to be Henry Chickenhawk to try and judge these marks.
