    Is it true there are no new covers left?

    I understand a major supplier is tooling up to make reproductions.

    Will they pass N.C.R.S. judging?

      Maybe not from GM, but a lot of vendors still advertize them.

          Try Ecklers, I know they mentioned they only had the cast for one side months ago but maybe available now 1-800-327-4868, or try Long Island corvette 1-800-466-6367, they are not cheap by any means. I've got a set of used mid-year chambered mufflers for a big block if interested I don't need. Contact me by e-mail for further details. Good luck,grr#33570

              The vendors all list them, but no one has them. Eckler's claims to have reproductions in the works,but every time I call they tell me they are 30 days away from production. (Since last November)

              Used side covers are bringing $1000 and they are not pretty.

              In addition I'm being told the new reproductions will not be accurate or correct. I'm running into the same problem with tail lights. None available and continued promises.

                  Call Ecklers back, ask for Chuck St, John, if there is a soul in the company who knows, or can find out for you, he's your guy. Sat hi for me, please and hold for HIM, they will let you if you ask the operator.
