I'm going to put my 1972 this year at bloomington surivior or bench mark. Any info for what I'm in for.This car is bench mark material.

There are even some 72s that have received the Bowtie Award.
Or so I'm told.
If you think your car is good enough for a Benchmark, at least run it through an NCRS Regional Meet first to see how good your score would be. It may be as close as you get to a practice run for Bloomington.
I've thought about trying for Benchmark, but if you don't get the Gold piece of it the whole process is SO expensive to repeat ($800). 3 Top Flights (Chapter, Regional, National) and a Bowtie is so far enough for me.
Took the car for a ride Friday evening after changing oil and coolant. Still one of the nicest riding old Corvettes I've ever been in, and I don't know that I'll be able to drive it Dec 30th again in Michigan for a while.
