Bruce; I'm glad you are having fun with my e-bay item, it is the new year and we all need to laugh. What you might not under stand is I try to use search word's in my ad's. Since I have been working on these cars since 1966 I have never had a brake delete car, I wander why. If I would have turned those 2 words around it would have said ( delete brake) well that would not sound right either. Well any way thanks for the humor and the next time I will try to choose my word's in a more proper way. Have a great new year. john

Yea Roy; Did you not know that the Fuel injection body shims were made 1/16 longer for the torgue of the body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

John, There are a few on this board that criticize eBay but I've bought and sold many Corvette items with 100% feedback and some at record prices. Like my '67 bolt-on screwdriver that I sold and others. I just have fun and ignore the self proclaimed experts because I know better. Good luck with your auction and Happy New year to all. I have had one. It had one brake deleted. Or maybe it was the economy three brake option. It drove ok until I had to stand on them doing about 90 one day.

I think the problem others are finding are all the non-related stuff in your ebay title. However, I know why you and others do that, since it is the only way to get people to see the auction. A person may need the brackets, but only searches for things like brake parts or fuelie parts. Then by chance, he stumbles on the brackets while searching for FI parts.

Inaccurate title, yet it is what catches the searches.

Kind of like the "1972 Nova not Camaro, Corvette, Chevelle, Mustang" titles. The Nova has little to do with the other cars, but the searches for "1972 Corvette" will pop up this '72 Nova for someone to see. Of course, there are worse examples, like "1967 Rambler not Camaro, Corvette, Chevelle, Mustang".

There are currently 28106 items with "Corvette" No one will look through all of them. There are 90 "Corvette hardtop" items. Half are in the Toys section. "Corvette brake" brings 727 items. This gets the group large enough to be seen without too large to be overlooked.

And regardless of how good the part is or great your intentions are, if no one sees it, it will not sell. So people do whatever it takes to be seen.
