C2 Front Suspension/ Coil Springs

Looking for a solution to a front suspension dimension issue on a 63' L76 car.According to the Assem. Manual the lower a-arm dimension should be 2.25" +/- .25. I am looking at a fat 4". Behind the front wheels 30.5" back from axel centerline I have 3/4" above max spec. 8.92" at bottom of rocker to ground.Obviously the ride is to high. Could it be anything other than the wrong springs? Any help greatly appreciated.

Are you sure that the suspension is normalized? In other words, has the car been driven at least a few miles since the suspension work?

If the suspension is normalized and the dimensional discrepancy described persists, then I'd say that springs deviating from original spec is the root of the problem.
