Dealer/Origin/Window Stickers?

(1) I am trying to track down the dealer/origin of my '74 big block. Any suggestions? (2) Who makes repro window stickers for Corvettes?

Mel, I have used "Triple A Enterprises" for window stickers. I don't know if they are still around as it has been five years since I last used them. Their address is/was 1427 W 86th st. Suite 260, Indianapolis, IN 46260. Tel 317-875-7836 (they fax you an order blank). Craig

Without some sort of documentation on the car or contact with the original owner, finding the original selling dealer will be tough. If you have the tank sticker the zone and dealer number will be shown. Decoding the zone and dealer number code can be difficult, but if you have that information it's a good start. Someone on the board may be able to help.

Also, if you have any of the car's original paperwork, you could examine it closely for a reference, no matter how obscure, to the original dealer.

Reproduction window stickers are available from Triple A Enterprises. Their address is P.O.Box 50522, Indianapolis, IN 46250. They may also be able to help you with decoding your zone/dealer number IF you are able to come up with that information.

AAA window stickers are NOT typical of factory production. A good judge will spot them at once. Contact Dr. Muriel Dobbins for a high quality sticker.

Dale...can you direct me on contacting Dr. Muriel Dobbins to obtain a good quality window sticker? I already contacted AAA and they said pretty much the same regarding the dealer/origin of the car. Since the build sheet was just about destroyed and illegible (from the previous owner) there was nothing left to save. Although I have some documentation with the car back 2 or 3 previous owners, i don't know how much luck i will have regarding the dealer origin.The past 10-12 yrs the car spent on Cape Cod, Mass... so at least it's on my side of the country. Could you direct me on contacting Dr. Muriel Dobbins to obtain a good quality window sticker? I have contacted AAA and they said that without the build sheet (which was totally destroyed previously) or past owner documentation, you're out of luck as to obtaining the dealer of origin. Sooo....guess i'll just try and contact the 2 or 3 previous owners that i have information on and go from there.
