looking at replacing my door panels as they are in really bad shape, they are original, looking at the best vendor out there, quality and fit are above price!! I replaced the L/h A pillar post molding from Al Knock, not impressed with quality or fit, after the 3rd one they sent I gave up, does wilcox make their on, or are all door panels made from one vendor? butch

Generally, Al Knoch is considered the best quality for most interior pieces, including door panels. Based upon my inspection and comparison of the various ones out there, I concur with this. Are the Al Knoch pieces up to ORIGINAL quality? I don't really think so, but I do think that they're as good as you're going to get. Also, forget NOS for pieces like door panels. Even if you found some, the chances are they'd be deteriorated from age. I've PERSONALLY seen NOS panels crack like eggshells when removed from the box.
Are there other manufacturers? Yes, I believe that there are, at least, several. I believe that Eckler's may manufacture their own and Corvette America may also. John's Corvette Interiors used to manufacture many interior pieces, but I don't know that they ever did their own door panels. Mid-America may or may not manufacture their own, too.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -

On C-3'sI have used both Al Knock and Corvette America and the last set from Corvette America was the best I have used.
