    windshield glass c1 &c2

How does Auto City Glass and Pilkington Classic Glass compare for correctness of glass thickness, etching LOF (with shield and letters aligned) and date on outside surface for both 62 and 67? I'm interested in clear glass now but how does each shaded look for c2's? Lastly pricing? Just wanted you guys experience before ordering.
    thank you

I think all the glass is being made at the same place. But, you need to have them send you a picture of the stencil that they will use and make sure it has correct character. Typically, replacement glass will be a little thinner, 1mm or so. Terry

Im using an Auto City WS on my 62. The only difference I found from the original was the LOF stamp where the word "laminated" was not on the original but stamped on the Auto City one.

The price is right, but all of the three(54,59,64) that I bought have distortion. Maybe all replacements do, but I don't like it.
