Through NCRS store you need to get a judging reference manual.
also, if you don't already have it, a 56-57 judging manual. Without those, you're going in blind and throwing away a lot of money to get your car there, stay, eat, etc.--and have no idea what anyone is looking for or what NCRS judging is all about.

Pin and patch + Corvette news subscription etc only came in the "Corvette Owners Packet" after you mailed in the card on the first page of the owners manual. I don't think the tune up guide or FI book were delivered with the car. Our 62 came with Owners Manual, Warrantee book, Uniroyal Tire brochure. As far as what is judged I am not sure but the Pin etc were not there. It is very helpful though to have some reference material with you in case you need to make a case for something that does not add up. Eric #3,182

Service manuals and parts books are not used in judging. You need the owners manual, warranty book, radio instructions and any other factory supplied manuals or pamphlets for your year and options. Along with various stickers or decals located throughout the car.

Isn't a comprehensive list of glove box and other interior printed materials included in the TM&JG for the year of the car the fellow has? I do not have a TM&JG for the year in question but such list does appear in other years' TM&JG's.
            Best regards,
            Charlie

Charlie, I do not believe the manuals are listed in the JG for 56 - 57. At least in my 4th addition the are not. Eric

                Recommend an Operations/PV Manual and

a Assembly Manual in addition to what Rev. Mike suggested the Judging Reference Manual and the Judging Manual for 56-7. If you have questions after going through the material the 56-7 Team Leader contact information is posted on the contact section of this web site. Also, it's best to enter or have your '57 particpate in a Chapter Judging meet or a "mock Judging" training session. Strongly recommend participation in your local NCRS Chapter. There's also a list of Chapter contacts on the contact tab of this web site as well. Regards, Gary....

The 56-57 Judging Guide doesn't specify the contents of the seat separator compartment. The 58-60 Judging Guide states that the contents should include: Owners Manual, Chevrolet Owner Protection Policy, Engine Break-in Instruction Card, Wonderbar Radio Operating Instruction Guide (if radio equipped), Delco Battery Service Policy, Clock Instruction Guide, and a paper envelope to hold these items. I expect the 56-57 requirements to be similar.
