Side Exhaust Insulator

I have to glue the curved heat insulator back onto one of my side exhaust covers. Can anyone tell me of a glue or compound that will hold the insulator on so it doesn't fall off again and also would look like the glue originally used ?

I used JB Weld and have not had any holding issues. It is dark grey.

JB Weld(long drying) worked well for me 2 *NM*

Check this link -- a true high-temperature epoxy that is great for the use you propose.
