    63 powerglide shifter

Is there any difference in a 63 powerglide shifter and a 62? Will it work in a modified 62?
    Thanks,
    Wade

Just a guess here. I think they are different. The 63 attaches to the tail shaft of the transmission. The tail shaft was only used on 63. I would be supprised if the 62 is located in the same position.
I sure someone with knowledge will respond.

They are different. 1962 shifter was straight and 1963-64 was curved. Bolt patteren is also different. john
