Assembly line wiper blades for '56 - '62?

Are these polished 12" Trico wiper blades the assembly line design used on all '56 - '62 Corvettes?

I'm not trying to be a smart-ass here. I really don't know. I looked through Adams' Volume 1, but I didn't find any photos or drawings that would answer this question.

If these are the original design, are they rare or common? I'm not talking about the rubber, just the metal part.

    The reason I asked.

I've seen eBay sellers describing 13" blades as original for '58 - '60 Corvettes.

I've also seen sellers claim that the arms had 3/8" long pins to stab sideways into the blades. All my arms just have flat ends with a raised bump to hold the blade.

        Jerry--
        12" is correct--13 is not.
RB12-2 can be the correct blade for at least 61-62, depending on its date of manufacture. Most of the swap meet NOS ones are later, and have the 1963 Canada patent marking on it, which obviously makes it incorrect for earlier cars.

          Jerry,

I have used the RB 12-2 blades, and have never got even a single point deduct.
They have the catch that catches on the flat arm with a bump on it. I have bought several sets from Jim Sestak SP?, as he seems to have an unlimited supply of them. The last set I bought from him was about 2 years ago, and I think I paid $125 for a pair.

          Regards, John McGraw

            Thank you all.

I especially appreciate the photos and detailed info sent to my home by Rich Thomas.

I now feel armed and dangerous in the vast world of replacement Trico wiper blades.
