Hello here is a mail from Sweden. I´m doing a restoration on my 68 and during the work I have discovered that I have two different styles on the headlight housing. On the left the 3 support tabs for the headligt bulb cups are round and the housing is marked 68 on the rigt side the tabs are pointed and the housing is marked 68.Can anyone tell me if it was two styles in production 68.As far as I know all 68`s have round tabs. The car is damaged on the rigt side so my first thought was that anyone has installed a later housing because a correct one was not available. My car is a late production made about august 2 and the number is 428293. Can the right one be for the 69 but stamped 68 anyway????????????.The funny thing is that I have a friend here in Sweden with the same phenomenon, he´s car is also a late 68 made in July.I hope anyone can help me.
