Ed, What do you do with the extra baffles? Do you have Allen's Number? Thanks for your response. I plan to push in some stainless scruber's and I'll install a couple of long screws behind them so they won't blow out.

I was told last year at Carlisle by Stainless Works that they could build a set of quieter pipes. I have not inquired further but it may be worth a try. I have been looking for a solution to the noise problem for over a year and have not come up with a fix yet. I am in sort of a holding pattern after ordering a new set of pipes from Ecklers only to find after installing them that not only were they louder and different (worse) sounding but that they did not fit correctly. The welds at the tips were visible past the covers. I had to ship the pipes back to Ecklers at my expense, was not guaranteed that a new set would be better and charged a restocking fee! Needless to say I was not very pleased. I have heard so many horror stories of fit and sound about most of the companies that I am now waiting until I can find a car with the sound that I like and then order the type of pipes that that person has.
