Does anyone remember the quality of original paint jobs from the factory in the mid 60's ?? also (here's a longshot!)does anyone have dealer showroom photos of Stingrays on the showroom floor from 65-67 ?? Thanks !

My 67 (silver) still has the original paint job. There were (and are) imperfections, but the paint is still quite good.

Next time the sun is just right and you happn to have your camera handy, I love a few good closeup shots of the front fender louvers that show the glass grain/hair. Should still show the real texture of a typical 67, or any C2, louver area. Thanks.- Top

The paint on my 65 (late Feb build) was pretty good. The paint on my 69 (late Oct 68) build was terrible. It had obvious factory repaint patches when it came off the truck. I took it back to the dealer several times but all they did was polish it.
