    C2:67 Guess what these are

After scotchbrite and lacquer thinner prep, plastic primer, 3 light coats Krylon 1613.
Should have seen them before, they were ready to throw out but you can't find them anymore.

    One step at a time.

    Jerry,
I was going to guess "steering column trim" even before I say that in the URL for the pictures ;-).
Excellent work! I envy you patience and attention to detail!

Nice job! You're giving me ideas for the spring.

        Paul,

That's about the way mine looked, all sun damaged and faded.

Forty years of sun does have an effect. You should have seen the seat covers two years ago.

            Jerry,

I've done the same to mine but didn't use a plastic primer and they turned out fine. I would like to know what plastic primer you used for future projects.

              Wayne,

I used Eckler's Plastic Primer A1929.I have used this on bare plastic and interior fiberglass trim (like radio sidepanels). Don't know if it makes any difference.

Also the Scotchbrite I cited above was actually 3M synthetic steel wool.

                Wayne,
I am partial to Krylon products for both plastic and metal work. These kick panel speakers were done last week with #41318 (Grey primer) and #43553 (Equestrian paint). I will install those in the spring. Not NCRS but I like four-channel sound in my 1967.
