    C2 jack handle

I recently purchased a parts lot from a garage sale and found that there were three jack handles in the box that appear to be correct in size, shape and design for a 1967 corvette. They are all the three hole design but there are different stampings on the head and shaft of the wrench. One has an "O" stamped into the head, one has an "A" stamped into the shaft of the head and the last one has no stamp whatsoever. Can any of the members identify these handles as being correct for a corvette? If they are not for a corvette, what are they for"? Thank you, once again.

There were 3 different lug wrenches used over the 1963-82 Corvette period. However, from what I can tell from your description, I think that what you're talking about is the final iteration, GM #3898172, which was used from 1967 through 1982. If that's what you're talking about, it's definitely correct for a Corvette. In fact, the GM #3898172 (and its predecessors) had only 2 model applications that I can find-----63-82 Corvette and 62-69 Corvair.

If you're asking which of the handles that you have are correct for a 1967 Corvette as opposed to the other years that the 3898172 was used, I can't offer any help. The "nuances" of difference over the years that the 3898172 handle was manufactured (late 1966 through early 1992) offer many possibilities for minor differences. I don't even know if all the handles used during the 1967 model year or any other model year were absolutely identical in all aspects of configuration. However, I don't expect that there were multiple suppliers of a part like this, at least during any one time period. Considering the model usage of this piece, production quantities probably wouldn't have justified more than one supplier. However, suppliers may have changed over the long manufacturing run of the part.
