Does anyone know what ever happened to the New England Corvette Center located across from the old dragway in Epping, NH? In the mid 1980s I worked near there and I can recall a big open fenced-in yard with dozens of vintage Corvettes in many states of disrepair. I routinely stopped by hoping to buy a project car but there were no signs of life. I left repeated notes that were never answered. Then one day the entire place and all of the cars were gone - I think to make room for a new highway. According to an old business card I saved, the contact name was Galen Williams. Anyone know about it or the fate of the cars?

Re: New England Corvette Center
Oh yes it did exist there, but not sure where they went to. Around the same time down the street in Exeter was another street rod & vet show room; they have moved to Hampton - called Hampton Motor Company, 603-926-7900/6005, Fred Miller and ask him. (This info is second hand so )

Re: New England Corvette Center
Alan, are you in NH? When I got here Fred's place was in the old trolly maintenance building on rt 27 where it crosses ove Interstate 95. It was called Bayberry. About 3 to 4 years ago they moved to Rt 1 in the center of town. He is still there.

Re: New England Corvette Center
No longer up in your area left in 70's (official story anyways) Now I'm nearer to where we had our meeting on Sat, Danvers.
Am I correct about the new location? My recall was not of much help to person looking, so I just gave him an option of another way to find his info. It's like trying to find an original owner of your car (pain in ).
Well FLA will now be a better trip since the temperature gone down! Have fun.- Top
