    Body height

Hello from the Netherlands. I own a '65 convertible that when seen from the front looks lower on the left side. Both front springs are original and the ground/fenderlip height are similar both sides. When I just bought the car I had noticed the front-right body bolt (thus passenger side) was very loose. Now is it possible that the body shims have disappeared and by re-tightening the afore mentioned bolt the body has come down? Thank you in advance,

    Re: Body height

The place to start is with the height of the suspension and frame components. The '63 shop manual provides locations and height settings to check for spring sag and the like, if these all measure correct, then you will have to do a side to side comparision from a flat level surface to points on the body and see where you are, Without seeing it I don't know how much "off" your seeing, but some adjustment is possible at the body mount points, don't forget the rad core support, as that locates the entire front end of the car.
