My cars with THE ORIGINAL tri power engine:
67 L71 roadster
67 L71 coupe
69 L71/L89 coupe
68 L68 coupe (did get wristpin score in one cyl for unknown reason
69 L88 original engine removed running to replace with LS7 by original owner
69 L89 #2 original engine removed running in late 70's because of gas
Not tripower, BUT
70 LS6 Chevelle (engine run in a mud truck previously, but rescued & re-united)
70 LS6 ElCamino (engine run in drag car previously, but rescued & re-united}
70 LS5 Corvette
Of the several dozen big blocks I've owned since the '60's, I've never had the problems described above.
