    61 spark wire hangers

I miss directed my spark plug wires and burnt them because I was missing the wire hanger that goes on the bolt of the front spark plug shield of my 283, 270 hp to direct the wires down before crossing behind the exhaust manifold. I found a sourse for the front "s" shaped hanger but they also sell a oilpan mounted hanger. It looks like it has a circle for the wires to pass thru before they reach the fire wall bottom end bracket with the rubber inserts. I can't see this second wire support in my assembly manual but it is a long run from the front behind the exhaust manifold. I wondered if oringinal 61's had a second wire hanger on each side. If they do, which oil pan bolt do they attach to. I suspect if they were not oringinal and I use them anyway it will cost a few originallity points. Thanks in advance.

You need the oil pan clip. I don't remember which bolt, but it will be obvious when you get under the car. The shielding will only work in one place.
