Is there only one fuel sending unit being reproduced and passed to the many venders or are there several repro sites producing the unit, with some being better than others. I need one for my 62. Thanks in advance! Jon

Can't imagine more than one or two. After all it is not an item that would be in high demand compared to other auto parts. I got mine from Quantra, same place I got the new tank, and after running a seperate ground wire to the frame it works great.

It seems that there are at least 2 on the market. 1 is from Delco and costs well over $100. Don't know where the Delco one is made. 1 is made in Asia, and costs under $100. The Delco one can run double what the Asian one costs. There have been reports of the Asian one not working well or not working at all. I doubt that the Delco one is made in the US.
You can test them with an ohmeter before you go to the trouble of installing it.Comment
