69 Corvette L-88 Hood

Hello Everyone!! I am in the process of building a 69 Corvette L-88 race car. I was wondering what company offered the correct hood for the car. I have found a range of prices from 450-1200 and no pics so I'm not sure what hood to buy. I know some don't have a functioning cowl and the bottom of the hoood contours to the shape but I don't want that hood. I need a correct style hood. Thanks for the input

Real L88 hood is $$$

You can use an aftermarket one like Eckler's, and they even used to sell a separate air box that could be attached to the underside of the hood and looked like the factory setup.

That is what I am looking for. A reproduction hood and carb air cleaner base w/seal that looks like the factory. I found the hood from Eckler's but I couldn't find pics of the bottom of the hood so I can see if it looks original or not. That's why I was asking which aftermarket hood was the most correct.

By the way, the reason that original L-88 hoods are so expensive is that when their hood wears out, guys with original L-88's will pay just about anything to obtain a replacement.
