Grand Sport Replica Component Sources??????

A friend recently took over a Grand Sport replica project and is looking for sources to obtain the components exclusive to the GS. Does anyone here have information that might help? Thanks, Jim Weeks - Member #2978

Depends which kit he has - is it a D&D, Mid-America, or ??

I think he's looking for body parts mostly so they should be the same for either D&D or Mid-America. Thanks

Actually, they're not. The D&D body is molded in one piece, and is very faithful to the original car, and the only production body part it uses is the windshield. The Jeff Leach Mid-America car starts with a production coupe body and has its front and rear clips cut off and replaced with Jeff's GS front and rear clips. If it's a D&D car I may be able to put you in contact with someone who can supply D&D panels; if it's a Mid-America car, Jeff Leach can take care of you.

John is quite correct, as usual. I will add that Jeff Leach's panels are also thicker than the D&D body glass, having directly observed the construction of both. Mid-America is very impressive quality in my opinion by the way.
