I own a 1967 corvette convertible 327 automatic with A/C, power steering, and power brakes. It is a numbers matching car, but is a driver. I am currently trying to restore everything I can in it to NCRS standards, within reason. I have an aftermarket radio in the glovebox and box speakers in the back. The original radio is wired so that it still works through the front speaker separate from the newer unit in the glovebox. But besides that, most things seem original or proper replacements. Remember, this is a driver and I do not want to give that up. So here are my questions:
Is there a place for me in the NCRS when it comes to having the car judged? Would there even be any point in doing it? I realize it will not win "top flight", but are there intermediate levels to top flight? I believe it would be a huge learning experience for me, especially when it comes to the details about my car.
Please let me know what you think.
