I'm preparing to install new brake lines and I have read in several different places that this should be done with the body off (or elevated). In looking at the illustration in the Assembly Manual it appears the lines run down the insides of the frame and only go to the top of the frame at the front corners and under the frame at the rear. Am I missing something?

Ken
It can be done with the body on, just much easier with it off. If my senile old brain remembers correctly, the routing thru the frame crossmember is the tough part with the body on. As they say were there is a will there is a way. Good Luck and let us know how you make out. It would be a good article for the Restorer.

Thanks Terry - with the difficulty of raising the body again I'm game for trying the body-on approach.- Top
