I will be converting my 69 vette to side exhaust this spring. Any suggestions or comments. I will purchase a rear valence with the ears to cover the rear exhaust openings in the body. Going chrome side pipes. I do not want to modify the body if possible. Any ideas?
Hooker sidemounts or equivalent frequently will attach without modifying the body, but the rocker mouldings likely will need to be cut for clearance. Try to get them with a return guarantee in case they require body cutting.

In my opninion, the ears on the panels to cover a rear exhaust C-3 look silly. Better looking to either fill in the seams, or create the correct seams. If you don't want to alter the fiberglass.... then put in some extra rear reverse lights in the holes!
