    1963 T-10 reverse shifter rod

The 1963 assembly manual shows the reverse rod going into the shifter lever in the opposite direction as I show in the picture. Mine seems to fit nice this way but I may have a incorrect part? I also had to move the reverse lever on the transmission back a little to install the clevis pin, anyone have a 63 with T-10 that has had this problem? Any help in appreciated, Tim Barbieri

Memory seems to tell me that the '63 T-10 reverse rod was a different length than the prior rods - check with the parts suppliers.
