Any way to take this washer plunger apart?

As the subject says, is there some way to take this apart to replace the seal? If not are they available new or is saturday going to be junkyard day for me?

I belive that is the type you push the plunger down and turn 1/4 turn to remove.

        Greg:
The seal is not, to my knowledge, replaceable. I can be made to seal by putting an o-ring under the seal. This forces the seal against the wall of the cylinder and returns the unit to proper operation. I have been successful in doing this on several different pumps. Hope this helps.

Have been able to accomplish a temporary ( which turned into a permanent) renewed seal by using a couple of laps of teflon tape under an o-ring or rubber seal. Easily adjustable.

Your right Jeff in that for all intent purposes that seal is not meant to be replaced...I did manage to change it with a good one but it was a bear to say the least. I would have just swaped plungers but I busted the one with the better seal taking it apart.

Anyways I went to the wrecker today and picked up a bunch of pumps so out of all of them I should be able a good working unit. If not, I'll try yours and Myron's suggestions.

            Thanks again
