Ned help on Muncie number

I'm looking at a 325 main case on ebay and the seller says the numbers stamped on the case are P 12 30 BIRD47

The date works for me and this case is the later one with the squared off upper rear bolt boss but what is "BIRD47" ????

It sounds like the tranny was rebuilt and the rebuilder has identified his work.
