My wonderbar radio in my '60 is not funtioning properly for searching stations. I would like to have it serviced by a reputable company. Can anyone make any recommendations based on experience.

Many who specialize in 'antique' radio repair will service a Wonderbar set but EXCLUDE the signal seek function... The system is almost entirely mechanical with electronics simply controlling when to disengage and re-engage the tuner clutch via discrete solenoids. The rest of the seek system (power to seek, rate of seek, Etc.) are MECHANICAL functions.
Often, these sets are serviced when the tuner mechanicals first exhibit the need to be cleaned and the radio begins to 'blow' fuses mis-queuing owners to change the fuse to a higher rating rather than getting the radio serviced. The result is frequently burned out seek solenoids which are no longer available. NOTE: the Wonderbar can NOT tolerate an 'infinite' seek situation and the protection failsafe is to pop the main power fuse...
Check the archives and you'll find references to those who do work on Wonderbar sets, but my choice is Charles Siegfred (see Driveline magazine) since you already know you've got one of the harder problems to solve (getting the seek function back up and running)....
