Thanks a lot guys that does make it clear.

Even thought the definition of C3 and C4 include the CAD, CAM etc doesn't mean that I need to use it in our context of the definition.

I will just redo that section to strictly refer to the common usage of the terms.

If any of you get a chance to look over the NCRS Lingo pages and find areas that could be clearer or items that need to have a definition let me know. That page is always a work in progress and I am always interested in anything that makes it more accurate.

CIM = Computer Integrated Manufacturing (consolidates CAE, CAD, and CAM)
