When exactly was Inca Silver available for a 57?

I have either read, or been told... probably the later since I can't find any notes on this in my NCRS Corvette Spec and Guide Book.

Is it true that Silver wasn't availble till May 1st of 57?

There is an Inca Silver model on the C1 Registry. If this is the original paint, then it documents Inca Silver on a February 1957 car.

According to Noland Adams, "The Complete Corvette Restoration & Technical Guide - Vol. 1, there were 6,339 units produced in 1957. Of those, only 65 were Inca Silver; solid color with red interior totaled 48, solid color with beige interior totaled 7, and Silver with ivory coves and red interior totaled 10.
