i assume your light sockets are metal per originals and if that is so, take steel wool or a green scotchguard pad and scuff the gauges and the sockets then lubricate them with silicone dielectric paste. mike
Make sure the wire terminals are properly idexed in the headlight switch connector; the gray wire terminal (which feeds all the dash lights) should be connected to the output side of the wirewound resistor on the dash end of the switch that controls the dimming function.
