67 Jack Compartment Lid Stickers

Hey Guys,

I recently bought a replacement Stevens carpet tag for my jack compartment lid. I noticed that the NCRS Tech Guide states it should go in the rear right if the lid, but clearly my original lid has a discoloration mark in the upper right corner where the original tag was placed. That is where I have placed the tag. Is that a problem?

No your OK, they at best were randomly placed. And if is is a issue tell the judges just that you replaced it in the position of the original, they'll give it to you.

Heck, I've seen quite a few that were actually covered by the follow-on, factory installed Jacking Instruction label (partially as well as fully). As mentioned, Stevens applied the labels by hand, so position did vary with assy operator and time...

Thanks. Hoped it wouldn't matter, but it just made too much sense not to put it where it "belonged". The fun thing is that the jack instructions are original and dated. They're all there but in rough shape and I really would rather leave it the way it is. It's fun to find original stuff, even if it looks like its been in the car for 40 years! At least that's how I feel about.
