1970 Rocker Mouldings

Is there a process to restore rocker mouldings? My original ones have the rock chips etc. Thanks, Michael

You can restore them, even if they have pits in them you can sand them out. I have done that on my original set, and they had some deep gouges in them. The real trick is to get them re anodized. If you can find some one, with the tanks big enough it will cost you about 500 and up to get them re anodized. Well that is what they wanted last time I checked. Check in Hemmings it may have went down some. But they have people that can re do the anodizing.

There is a company in California that can repair your rocker moldings and reanodize. Their name is Anobrite. I found their ad in Hemmings a while back. You might call them to see what it would cost.
